About the Design:
Danish secretaries were the rage in the 1950's and 60's due to the high degree of functionality. Featuring large drawers on the bottom and smaller drawer on top, the idea was to allow people to expand their storage space with great design. Additional features included a pull out desktop for working or to be used as a dressing table.
With the design flexibility, the secretary works as a desk, dressing table, dresser, entryway piece or dining room storage. This allows for a lifetime of use as the secretary can be moved around the house based on changing needs.
About the Product:
Storage, functionality and design blend brilliantly in this secretary. The 3 lower drawers have eye popping hand carved handles which show the attention to detail and craftsmanship. The top features three smaller drawers which surround a pull down mirror in the center. The pull-out desk easily extends outward making this a great work station or storage unit.
