He grew up on a farm and had the aesthetic of nature in the blood. He started his career as a cabinetmaker and later trained as a furniture.
In 1944, Arne Hovmand-Olsen opened his own design studio, where he combined classic craftsmanship with innovative and modern design. He was a pioneer in architecture.
